How long does delivery take?+
In-stock units typically ship within 5-10 business days. Custom builds take 4-8 weeks depending on the structure.
Do you deliver to my state?+
Our core service region is Northern California and the Reno, Nevada area. We are beginning to partner with installers across the United States — please contact us at team@prefabshedsdirect.com to find out if we deliver in your area.
Do I need a permit?+
Permit requirements vary by city and county. Most structures over 120 sq ft require a permit. Permitting is the owner's responsibility — see our Permit Support Package page for help with floorplans, site maps, and application submission (starting at $550 for smaller structures).
What kind of foundation do I need?+
Most units require a level gravel pad or concrete slab. See our Site Prep page for category-specific requirements.
Do you offer financing?+
We don't partner with outside lenders. Instead, we offer 3 in-house payment options including a convenient 6-month term with no interest, no credit check, and no prepayment penalty. See our Payments & Financing page for details.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept check, ACH/wire transfer, and credit card (via invoice). A deposit is required to begin production.
Are containers wind and watertight?+
Yes. All container units sold are inspected to wind and water tight (WWT) grade or higher.
Can I customize a structure?+
Absolutely. Submit a quick quote with your specifications and our team will design to your requirements.
